Joel is truly an "island of solitude" when he is lost in his music. I love this about him.
This photograph was taken at the dinner table while he was singing through his score in preparation for his rehearsal tonight. Yes, every Tuesday night he inhales his food and begins to prepare for orchestra rehearsal. The girls and I thought it was pretty funny tonight when he didn't notice that I was snapping photos and then taking actual video of him.
He'd kill me if I posted that video, but I might just do it...
