I Heart Faces: Winter Wonderland

We have lots and lots of snow. I took this while trying to get a good headshot of my husband. While it doesn't work for a headshot, I have to say it was my favorite picture out of the bunch!

Queen of the Playground

This week, the challenge over at I Heart Faces is silhouettes.

I took this picture one evening in the spring. We were at the playground and the sun was just starting to go down, so I was playing with camera settings and such. I loved this pic when I got it up on the computer. It brings me right back to childhood myself. Total joy!

Photojournalism

The theme over at I Heart Faces this week is photojournalism.


I really wish I had more time this week, because I had ideas of things I wanted to document through photos.  But as it was, I had no time, and haven't even had a chance to pick up my camera, much less do the activities that would have been nice to document.

So, here is a recent photo of Miss Sophia.  The story here is pretty obvious:  She didn't want to leave the fun she was having at the lake.

I Heart Faces

So, my little photo blog has definitely been neglected since I moved last year.

I thought I'd start entering some of the fun photo contests and carnivals around the interwebs since I am still taking plenty of photos!

This week for I Heart Faces, the theme is Beach Fun, and since we've been doing a lot of that this summer...





Here is a picture of Chloe living it up at the beach by throwing sand into the blue, blue sky.  Love this photo!
