In the childhood memories of every good cook, there's a large kitchen, a warm stove, a simmering pot and a mom.
Barbara Costikyan

Our new stove! You know, to replace the one that exploded.

In all honesty, I forgot about taking a picture today (I wasn't having a very good day...), but I did take a picture of the stove to text to Joel once it came. Because in our house, if our children grow up to be good cooks, their childhood memories will feature a galley kitchen, a warm stove, a simmering pot, and a dad.

If they grow up to be good at doing dishes, well, those memories will feature their mother.
